||'The church is a neat structure, with a tower and spire, rebuilt in 1786 by aid of a gift of of £500 from the late Board of first Fruits.'(Lewis) According to Costegalde & Walker church was built (i.e. rebuilt?) in 1802 and enlarged in 1830.
