Nature: New 14th century Gothic cathedral for Charles McNally, Bishop of Clogher. FS laid 18 Jun 1861.  Tenders invited, Jul 1861. Still building in 1868. Clerk of Works: John Farrell. Completed by William Hague after death of McCarthy in 1882 and dedicated 1892.
