Nature: New parish church built. Tenders invited, Apr 1856. FS laid, 14 Nov 1856. Consecrated, 20 Apr 1858. Builder: Thomas Henry Carroll, Dublin. Stained glass window in W gable presented by Rev. John Flanagan, rector of Forkhill, Co. Armagh, in memory of his uncle Dr Thomas Campbell, former rector of Killevan.
