Nature: New church for Richard Malone, 1st Baron Sunderlin (replacing church described as being in ruins by Charles Vallancey in 1786) . Described as 'beautiful' by Cromwell, with an interior 'characterised by an elegant simplicity', 'ground glass' windows and a pulpit placed on one side of communion table so that all could see.Sunderlin mausoleum also probably designed by JW.
