||New church in 13th cent. Gothic style with nave, aisles, shallow transepts, square tower and spire. Red brick with Dumfries sandstone.. FS laid 5 Jul 1895. George Thomson Memorial Hall connected by passage, added at rear, 1898-99. Gothic. Red brick with Dumfries sandstone sills. Opened, Mar 1899. Contractor for both structures: Thomas McMillan, Ormeau Ave, Belfast.
