Nature: Gothic. FS laid 22 Apr 1834. Dedicated 13 Nov 1836. Building signed by JK but |Catholic Directory| says it was built 'to the design of a most celebrated architect'. Girvan says it bears 'a strong resemblance' to work of Thomas Duff.
