Builders: (1)Thomas Anthony, who claimed to have taken contract at too low a figure and went out of business during construction; (2) Sir Thomas Deane & Co. Completed excepting spire 1850; first opened for services, 10 Oct 1850. Thomas Coakley supervising archt. after GRP's death in 1838. |
