Nature: New church in Early English style occupying site of existing church (1836) and adjacent house. To cost  about £4,500 when completed. Actual cost: £5,300, including much-needed alteration in schoolhouse and cost of organ.  7 foundation stones laid, 31 Oct 1903.  Built, 1903-4.  Dedicated, 7 Oct 1904. Contractors: J. & P. Good.  (Extended 1957.)
