Nature: New Romanesque church on site donated by Earl of Howth, for Very Rev. Canon J. Flanagan. Comprises nave, tower, two transepts with entrance porches, sanctuary, two side chapels and sacristies.   Builder (stonework): William Lacy, Howth. Woodwork by T. & C. Martin, Dublin, plastering by W.J. Burke, Dublin, all windows but one by Martin & Sons, Stephen's Green, Dublin.  FS laid, 9 Aug 1896. Dedicated, 15 Oct 1899. Cost: £10,000.
