Nature: New chapel to replace one destroyed by fire on 13 May 1895. Work started by Oct 1895. Builder: Kiernan. (Shortly before the fire a marble altar designed by Ashlin had been erected;  this was destroyed, see Irish Times, 14 May 1895.)
