Plan of church 'provides an octagonal clerestorey, carried on arches, the lower storey projecting out in the form of angular recesses in each bay of the octagon'. Seats arranged in a 'somewhat amphitheatrical fashion'. External appearance'of a character imitative of Northern Italian work'. Opened, 9 May 1902. Contractors: P. Hanway (school); John Pemberton(church). Total outlay estimated at £4,500.
