Nature: Enlargement of church hall.  Formally inaugurated, 23 Jan 1884.  'The architecture of the building...was much admired, the peculiar difficulties of the problem having been successfully overcome. A graceful arch connects the old hall with an octagon structure having an opened timbered roof of bold design.'
