Nature: New N transept and E extension. Contractor: A. McNaught. (Church demolished after suffering hurricane damage and replaced by present one, 1962.)
Refs: Perspective view showing proposed N transept and 1-bay eastward extension , with sites for 'Future S Transept' & 'Future Chancel', signed by contractor, 1867, in RCB Library, portfolio 25 (portfolio also contains undated plan showing Lord Lifford's proposal for chancel and robing room, apparently not carried out).
