Nature: New church, with nave, chancel, S aisle, N & S porches, vestry room, tower & spire. Organ gallery at W end of nave (Telford organ) and circular window in W gable. Knocknamuckley stone. Also parochial buildings, i.e. lofty stable with stands for 10 horses, large carriage shed supported on metal columns, forming two sides of spacious yard.  Original drawings by J. Welland but work completed by Welland & Gillespie. 3-light E window by A.L. Moore & Co., London. Consecrated,19 Dec 1860. Total cost about £4,000. Contractor: J. Hunter, Bandon.
