Nature: New limestone bridge of 3 arches with open balustrade. MS architect and contractor. FS laid 25 Jul 1788. Damaged during flood, Jan 1789. Keystone of last arch laid, 29 Sep 1789.  Completed 1791. (According to McNamara he 'induced…[Abraham] Hargrave to complete the bridge' after flood damage of 1789.) Drawbridge at N end and portcullis removed in 1823.
