Early 18th c. pedimented villa for Mervyn Pratt, cousin of ELP. 'Knight of Glin considers it to have been almost certainly by Sir Edward Lovett Pearce' (Bence-Jones) while Mulligan also attributes the 'small sophisticated villa', described by Mrs Delany as a 'little commodious lodge...where Mr Prat lived whilst his house [Fleming's Castle] was repairing', to ELP. (NB. not to be confused with Cabra Castle, on the other side of the river.)
