Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

English architect, for whom see Directory of British Architects 1834-1914 (RIBA 2001), 335-6. W.D. Caroe's recorded Irish work is all in Co. Dublin, most notably Kilteragh, the house he designed at Foxrock for Sir Horace Plunkett in 1905. He also designed a clock tower for Leopardstown racecourse and works at Power's Distillery in John's Lane, Dublin, and at St Helen's, Booterstown.
