Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

John Cannon was one of the applicants for the post of Master of the Royal Dublin Society's School of Drawing in Architecture in 1842, following the death of JOHN THOMAS PAPWORTH  JOHN THOMAS PAPWORTH the previous year.(1) A carpenter and builder of this name, living at 2 Charles Row, Dublin, is listed in Pettigrew and Oulton's Dublin Almanac for 1841.
