Sculptor, of London, for whom see Ingrid Roscoe, ed., A Biographical Dictionary of Sculptors in Britain 1660-1851 (Yale University Press, 2009), 1233-1235. Joseph Theakston, who became an assistant to FRANCIS CHANTREY , designed and executed the simple monument to Turner Macan (d. 1836) in Armagh church of Ireland cathedral.(1)
