Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Stone and marble mason, of Armagh, Co. Armagh.   According to his 1901 census return, John McCullough, who was probably related to DAVID MCCULLOUGH DAVID MCCULLOUGH , was born in Armagh.   At the time of the census, he was fifty-three years old and living at 57 Callan Street with his son, Patrick, a stonecutter.    He executed a number of  monuments in Church of Ireland churches in Co. Armagh:  to Sir George Molyneux (d. 1848) in St Aidan's, Grange, to Sir James Calvert Stronge (d.1899) in St Vindic's,Tynan, and to the Rev. John Gibson (d. 1867) and Jane McAnally (d. 1887) in St John's, Mullaghbrack.(1)
