Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Builder, of Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan.  In 1773 John Green and Henry Byrne, designed and built a five-bay house on the Shirley estate side of Main Street, Carrickmacross, and, probably a little later in the 1770s, Green supplied George Shirley with a design for a new market house in the town.(1)
