Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Tuscan sculptor, chiefly active in Florence in the first three decades of the nineteenth century.. Francesco Pozzi, who was born in Elba in 1770 and died in Pisa in 1840, carved the kneeling marble angels flanking the high altar in the church of St Nicholas of Myra, Francis Street, Dublin, in 1834.(1)
