Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Sculptor, of Rome.  Ignaxio Jacometti, who had a distinguished career as a sculptor and as director of the Papal Galleries and Museums in Rome, was commissioned to make the statue of the Madonna and Child which was placed in the south transept of  St Francis Xavier's church in Gardiner Street, Dublin, in 1881.(1)
