Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Architect and surveyor, of Dublin.  James Montague Burrowes was active in Dublin from 1839 or earlier until 1847 or later, appearing in the directories at various addresses between these dates.     He was the architect of four houses in Capel Street which were put to tender in 1841 and completed in 1844.(1)  In 1845 he had a brief partnership with a Mr Skellern; this was probably RICHARD SKELLERN [2]. RICHARD SKELLERN [2].
