Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

London-based interior decorating business of Charles Joel Duveen (1871-1940).   In his book Elizabethan Interiors, published in 1911 under his business name of C.J. Charles, Duveen includes two plates of decorative schemes entitled 'An oak hall and staircase designed for the Island, Waterford, Ireland' and 'An Elizabethan hall and staircase showing tapestry above the panelling and stone chimneypiece designed for The Island, Waterford.'
