BELL, JOHN [3]

Architect and builder, of the Coombe, Dublin, and Mount Erroll, Co. Dublin, who died in 1872, leaving a large number of charitable bequests, mainly to Catholic churches and institutions.  These included a bequest of £1000 towards the building of the new Catholic church at Boyle, Co. Roscommon, and another of £100 towards a proposed new church at Rathfarnham.(1)
