Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

'Thomas Craig, Architect' was paid various sums in 1814,1815 and 1818 in connection with  Lea Church of Ireland church, Co. Kildare.(1)  Possibly the same person as the Thomas Craig who was admitted to the Dublin Society's School of Drawing in Architecture in 1786.(1)


(1) RCB Library, 'An account of of all sums of money levied for building and repairing of churches...June 1824' (information from Frank Keohane).  The church is described by Lewis as 'a small neat edifice...built in 1810'.
