Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

English sculptor, of Farnborough, Kent, who designed and made the bronze figures of Victory, a soldier  and a sailor for the war memorial in Derry City. He exhibited bronze statuettes of these figures at the Royal Academy in 1927.(1)   n 1925 he won the competition for the Canadian National War Memorial, Ottawa, which remains his best-known work.
