Sculptor, of Rome. Pietro Bonanni, a pupil and associate of Pietro Tenerani, carved a marble statue of the Madonna and child for St Audoen's Catholic church, Dublin,, which was dedicated on 20 August 1847. The statue, which has sometimes been attributed to GIOVANNI MARIA BENZONI ,(1) is clearly signed and dated Petrus.Bonanni /fecit.Romae.1847.
