Architect and builder of Barrack Street, Loughrea, Co. Galway, listed as such in I. Slater's National Commercial Directory of Ireland (1846).Geoghegan was one of the signatories to an address to Michael Winter, schoolmaster of Loughrea, by the citizens of Loughrea, which was published in the Tuam Herald on 13 May 1843, and appears on a list of freeholders in the same newspaper on 14 December 1844.
