Architect, of Manchester, named as the designer of a proposed new Catholic church at Benmore, Co. Tyrone, in 1911.(1) Nothing is known of him or of the church, which does not appear to have been built.

Nature: Large new memorial church to be built for Rev. J. Quin at cost of £20,000 under bequest of Philip McAteer, Irish merchant in Glasgow and native of Benmore. Late Perpendicular style with certain Irish features introduced. Architect: John Hopkins, Manchester. (Apparently unexecuted.)
