Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Architect, of London, for whom see Directory of British Architects 1834-1914 (RIBA 2001), I, 991. Benjamin Ingelow worked in the office of WILLIAM SLATER  WILLIAM SLATER and his partner RICHARD HERBERT CARPENTER RICHARD HERBERT CARPENTER . After Slater's death,(1) he was taken into partnership by Carpenter and worked with him on the restoration of St Patrick's Church of Ireland cathedral, Armagh, from 1886 to 1890.

(1) According to the entry on Ingelow in the Directory of British Architects he was taken into partnership in 1872, but the entry on Carpenter gives the dates of the partnership as 1878 to 1893.
