Surveyor and 'CE', of Lisburn, Co. Antrim, active in the 1880s. John MacHenry, a son of PAUL MACHENRY PAUL MACHENRY , succeeded his father as surveyor to the Hertford estates in Co. Antrim. He is attributed with the design of the court house at Lisburn (1884), which is based on Palladio's Villa Ragona at Ghizzole di Montegaldina in the province of Vicenza. According to Brett, he also 'seems to have had some hand' in the design of Castle House, Lisburn.
