Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Civil engineer and architect, of Belfast, active from the 1890s until 1911 or later. Robert Alexander Boyd, who, according to the 1911 census, was born in Co. Armagh in 1868 or 1869, was active as an engineer and architect in Belfast from the 1890s onwards.  The 1911 census return records him as living at 35 Clifton Street, Bangor, Co. Down, with his Australian-born wife, Rose Gertrude, and their three children.  His pupils and assistants included GEORGE JOSPEH STANISLAUS KELLY. GEORGE JOSPEH STANISLAUS KELLY.
