Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Civil engineer, of Enniskillen, Co. Fermanagh, active in the 1857s until the 1880s. He was borough surveyor for Enniskillen from 1871(1) or earlier until 1887(2) or later. He was also an assistant county surveyor for Co. Fermanagh from 1875(3) or earlier until 1887 or later.(4) He was still living in 1889(5) but had been replaced as borough surveyor by THOMAS ELLIOTT [2]  THOMAS ELLIOTT [2] by 1900.

A John Wray, possibly the same person, made a survey of the ground on which the new Church of Ireland church at Enniskillen was to be built in 1852.(6)
