Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Carpenter and builder, of 17 Synnot Place, Dublin, listed as such in Wilson's Dublin Directory for the years 1806 to 1817. He was admitted a freeman of the City of Dublin as a member of the Carpenters' Guild by Grace Especial at Midsummer, 1799.(1) In December 1808 Bryan Bolger measured carpentry work by him at Sir Patrick Dun's Hospital,(2) and in April 1813 the Corporation sanctioned the payment to him of £148.2s.10½d. for carpentry and masonry in the City Marshalsea the previous September.(3) He was on the Common Council of Dublin in 1831.(4)
