Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Carpenter, of George's Lane, Dublin, active from 1762 or earlier until 1772. John Taylor was one of the representatives of the Carpenters' Guild on the the Common Council of Dublin from 1762 until 1765.(1) He may be the J. Taylor who built No. 10 Merrion Square North in 1763.(2) He died in June 1772.(3)
