ROMAINE-WALKER, WILLIAM HENRY #

Architect, of London, for whom see Directory of British Architects 1834-1914 (RIBA 2001). At the end of the nineteenth century Romaine-Walker remodelled and added the east and west wings to The Island, Waterford, for Gerald Purcell-Fitzgerald.(1) Early the following century he also designed the garden front terraces at Westport House, Co. Mayo.(2)
