Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Stained glass manufacturers of Franklin Street, Belfast, active in the first two decades of the twentieth century. In an illustrated article on the stained glass in the City Hall, Belfast, the Irish Builder describes Campbell Bros. as having 'recently come into prominence by the many beautiful specimens of their work to be seen in buildings throughout the whole of Ireland'.(1) This is presumably a reference to the Clokey Stained Glass Studios, a separate department of the company, which was established in 1904 when W.F. CLOKEY  CLOKEY (ca 1870-1930) went into partnership with his former employer, James A. Campbell.(2)
