GILLIARD, PHILIP *

Carpenter, of Dublin. Philip Gilliard was one of the signatories to a report defending the Surveyor General, THOMAS EYRE which was published by Eyre in A reply to the report of the commissioners and others upon the condition of Dublin barracks(1760).(1) He is presumably the same person as the carpenter named Gilliard who was employed on the construction of No. 12 Merrion Square, for William Brownlow, MP, for Lurgan.(2)
