Architect, of Roscrea, Co. Tipperary. James Sheane was born between 1772 and 1778. His three known designs are for the church at Roscrea and glebe houses at Modreeny and Kilrushall, all in the Church of Ireland diocese of Killaloe. Sheane married Anne, daughter of James Cole. He died in 1816 and was buried in Roscrea churchyard.
