Architect and 'CE', of Cork, active from 1889 or earlier until 1915 or later. William Crawford Ryder was born in Cork in 1839 or 1840. He married his wife, Sophie Elizabeth Fullwood, in 1893 or 1894 but had no children. His pupils and assistants included RICHARD CHARLES MURPHY.& RICHARD CHARLES MURPHY.& #160; He is possibly the Mr Ryder who was clerk of works for the erection of St Luke's Church of Ireland church, Douglas, Cork, in 1874-75 to designs by OSBORNE CADWALLADER EDWARDS.
