Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Builder?, of Dublin. Pemberton Rudd was admitted a Freeman of Dublin as a member of the Guild of Carpenters by virtue of birth, at Michaelmas 1786.(1) He is identified in the will of Catherine Caldbeck of Crooked Staff, Co. Dublin, dated 26 November 1788, as the eldest son of her cousin Stephen Rudd (see STEPHEN RUDD STEPHEN RUDD ). Pemberton Rudd was Mrs Caldbeck's executor and inherited her 'houses and holdings in Jordans Alley and Crooked Staff, Co. Dublin, and the residue'.(2) Abstracts of the will of Pemberton Rudd, dated 9 April 1825, are in the National Archives.(3)
