Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Architectural partnership, of Dublin, formed in 1912 between RICHARD CYRIL KEEFE  RICHARD CYRIL KEEFE and JOHN JOSEPH ROBINSON. I JOHN JOSEPH ROBINSON. I n the same year the two young men inherited the practice of GEORGE TIGHE MOORE GEORGE TIGHE MOORE , with the result that their partnership is sometimes also referred to as Moore, Keefe & Robinson. Early in the First World War, Keefe joined the Army Service Corps and was sent to France, leaving Robinson to look after the business. In about 1916 Robinson also took charge of the practice of ROBERT DONNELLY  ROBERT DONNELLY and JAMES MOORE  JAMES MOORE (no relation of G.T. Moore) when they both entered active service. After the war, in the spring of 1919, the four men joined forces, working as DONNELLY MOORE KEEFE & ROBINSON  DONNELLY MOORE KEEFE & ROBINSON until 1925 when Keefe and Robinson left to set up the practice of ROBINSON & KEEFE.  ROBINSON & KEEFE.
