ROBERTS, THOMAS EDMONDE

Architect, of Cork and Dublin, active in the 1890s. Thomas Edmonde Roberts was articled to ARTHUR HILL in Cork and continued to work in Hill's office for several years afterwards. While he was in Cork, he sat exams in architectural history at Queen's College and in building construction in London. By 1899 he had joined the staff of the Royal Engineer Office in Dublin. Nothing is known of his later career.
RIAI: elected member , 16 December 1899, (1) having been proposed by Arthur Hill, seconded by THOMAS DREW and RICHARD SANDHAM SWAN ; ceased membership circa 1907.
