PARKER, JOHN C.

Architect, of Dublin.   According to the 1911 census of Ireland, John C. Parker was born in in Co. Dublin in 1864 or 1865. Although he is described as married in the census return, he was living in Rathmines with his mother and sister at the time.   Only one design by him is recorded in the Irish Builder, for the rebuilding of Nos. 10-12 North King Street in 1906.(1)    In 1931, when he was sixty-six, he applied to be admitted to Simpson's Hospital, Dublin, presumably on account of failing sight; he applied again the following year.(2)
