Amateur architect, who after recovering the family estates, forfeited during the lifetime of his father (d. 1720) built Kenmare House, near Killarney, Co. Kerry, circa 1726, acting as his own architect and using tradesmen working on the estate. The thirteen-bay, 2 storey house was built of local materials.
