Architectural sculptor, of 63 Capel Street, Dublin, active from the 1850s or earlier until the 1880s.(1) Joseph O'Reilly was responsible for the carving on the National Bank, Waterford, erected to designs of BRETT & SONS , in 1877,(2) and for the statue of St Colman on the top of the west front (completed 1899-90) of St Colman's Catholic Cathedral, Cobh, designed by PUGIN & ASHLIN. (3)
