O'MALLEY, JOHN J.

Town surveyor, of Westport, Co. Mayo, active in the first two decades of the twentieth century. John J.O'Malley, who was appointed to the position of town surveyor of Westport in 1904(1) and held it until at least 1918,(2) was also appointed engineer to Westport Rural District Council in 1916.(3) He was an assistant county surveyor for Co. Mayo from 1907(4) or earlier until 1918(5) or later.
