Architect, of Cork. Richard Notter of Rock Island, Goleen, Co. Cork, married Mary, the sister of THOMAS DEANE , on 8 August 1818(1) and by 1824 was established as an architect in Cork; he is listed as such in Pigot & Co.'s City of Dublin and Hibernian Provincial Directory (1824), 248, with an address at Sunday's Well Road, and in Connor's Cork Directory for 1828. He became Deane's business partner and with Deane supervised the building of Dromore Castle, Co. Kerry.(2) He died circa 1851.
